Standoff on Tatooine

The coordinates Nemiria recieved from the datapad indicate coordinates that lead you to an enbattled sector of Balmorra's weapons production factories.

 ((How you apprach the planet is up to you, I have no idea what kind of cloaking features your ship has, but there is an imperial blockade surrounding the area the planet.))

Nemiria grins when looking at the coordinates. She had been on Balmorra before but hardly ever left the bases. She stopped her ship far from Balmorra to study which base would be closer. Then decided that it would be risky but smarter to land in the imperial zone. For some time she leant against a wall to come up with a plan then headed to her room and started to change her clothes. She tied her hair up and made sure to cover the scar in her face with make-up as well as she put contact lenses in her eyes.
After checking on her masquerade she slipped into something which looked like an uniform of the imperial intelligence. She frowned at the tight clothes and the itching fabric but then shrugged and allowed her ship to fly slowly to the imperial blockade leaving her communication channels open.

The open comm link is immediately hailed by the imperial space port. "Civilian ship, this is imperial station 116-B. State your name and business on Balmorra."
The woman speaking through the comm link sounds young, but stern.

Nemiria keeps her face calm and just nods as she parts her lips she has a slight imperial accent "Adegana Firescraper, I am here to trade rare food"

There is a short pause, "Rare food, hm? Moff Janderson must be having another banquet. Waste of resources if you ask me. Come on through then." The hangar bay shields change from red to blue indicating your ship may pass through them. "Welcome to Balmorra, Ms. Firescraper."

"I am sure Moff Janderson has his reasons I am just a trader but thank you very much Miss." Nemiria grinned and slipped out of the uniform again. This had been more easy than she had thought it would be. The situation seemed to change so often and pretending to be an imperial often worked. She put something on which allowed her to look decent then contacted the tower to request the allowance to land as well as a to get signed to a hangar.

"Permission to land, Ms. Firescraper." The security officers of the station had been overworked and under paid lately, due to the increased fighting on Balmora. Many of the people working the space station were veterans of battles planet side. Working the space port was a sort of vacation for them.

The hangar bay is simple and barren, but very clean.

"Thank you" she landed the ship safely and looked around in it before heading to the exit.

A shiny black Imperial observer droid approaches with a silver chromatic protocol droid in tow. "Greeting Ms. Firescraper. I am Protocol Droid designate PD-553. You may register your cargo and ship with me, while our observer droids search your ship for contraband." Two more shiny black orbs enter the hangar bay behind PD-553 and stop next to the first one. They appear to be waiting for orders.

PD-553 puts his hand out in expectation of a data pad indicating your identity. "Your credentials, please."

 World: ((Bullshit made up hacking technology is TOTALLY allowed by the way. Also, fake IDs are allowed. How you character deals with this really has no limits but your imagination. I will make you roll though, depending on the feasibility of the response. That okay?))

 Nemiria looks at the droids and nods "Greetings PD-553" she gives the droid a smile and turns around "follow me then but can I have a word with you" she does her best to blush "there are some objects in my bedroom I would not want to appear on a list you know" she reaches in her pocket and hands him a data pad, it looks used. But Nemiria does not seem to fear that it could not work at all. She had been using this identity for a while and Adegana Firescraper even had had a slight similarity to her.

PD-553 takes the I.D. and scans it motionlessly. "Thank you Ms. Firescraper." It then returns the I.D. to Nemiria. "The observer droids will now scan your ship. Unfortunately, we cannot omit any discovered items from our manifest. We apologize for any embarrassment that may come from this."

Nemiria nods "I understand I am sure that you are only doing your job." she keeps looking at the droid "Who will get to see the results of those scans? I hope it will not be a man will it? It would be really embarrassing for me." she shifts her weight from foot to foot "will it take long?"
"I assure you, Ms. Firescraper. Whomever reviews the manifest, male or female or other, is a consummate professional. There is no need to concern yourself with the matter. The length of the surveillance depends on the make and model of the ship, Ms. Firescraper. Barring any discoveries of contraband, you will only be detained for a few more minute, I apologize for the inconvenience." The observer droids begin their inspection using echo location and x-ray scanners to see into the ship without having to enter.

 "I am glad that they are professionals" she does her best to pretend to do a sigh of relief. "I wonder if there is somebody who can help me. For my job as trader of rare foods I need a certain secret colicoids produce. This is why I came to this planet. There are some people who use it to mix it into drinks. It is said to taste wonderfully but I admit I never dared to test" she shrugs and waits for the scan to finish. She had nothing she supposed which could be seen as contraband on her ship. No big weapons, no drugs only a bunch of dirty clothes. And a bunch of sex toys in her bedroom as she had found out that it was somehow useful to have those there in case that somebody did a research on the inside of her ship./

The observation droids complete their survey of the ship and disappear through a doorway. "I'm afraid the acquisition of such things is out of realm of information. There are a number of mercenaries within the space station looking for work planet side, perhaps one of them can be of assistance? I understand the native colicoids are responsible for a great deal of casualties on Balmorra." PD-553 appears to go stiff briefly as his eye lights go dim. After a few moments he returns to normal, "Congratulations,  Ms. Firescraper. You have been cleared to take a shuttle planet side, have a safe trip to Balmorra."

Nemiria performs a slight bow "thank you PD-553. I am sure that I will see you again when I return to travel off world?" she moves on her toes and stretches "thank you for all the information" she reaches out "can I have my I.D. back or will I receive it before leaving?"

PD-553 offers a stiff, robotic bow in response. "Of course, Ms. Firescraper. I am assigned to assist the resident of this hangar. Please, do not hesitate to call on me if I can be of further assistance."

Nemiria nods "I will do so. Until then PD-553" she leaves the hangar and walks through the spaceport. Then steps into the sunlight of Sobrik and looks into the sky. She does resist the urge to pull out her data pad to look for the direction of the arms factory. Instead she figures out the way to the next cantina and goes there.

The cantina is dimly lit with red and blue lights. There are several empty tables due to the time of day, but there are a few off-duty soldiers and mercenaries in tight groups. One figure stands-out against the bar, wearing a long hooded black robe. It's back to you.

Nemiria lets her eyes wander over the people in the cantina as she slowly walks to the bar. She tries not to look at the figure in the dark robe supposing that it might be a sith. When reaching the bar she orders herself a glass of lager. She leans against the bar while waiting.

The bartender quickly brings Nemiria her order without a word. You notice the bartender making nervous glances at the robed before returning to his cleaning duties. Trying his best to look the part of the diligent worker.

Nemiria takes a sip of her beer and makes a grimace at the taste. Her glance starts to wander over the group of mercenaries while she tries to figure out if one of them somehow makes an impression of being good to work with. Her eyes now and then get distracted by the person in the robes but their presence does not seem to make her nervous.

As Nemiria approaches the group of mercenaries, laughing merrily and sharing drinks, they stop and turn their attention to her. There are 5 in total, a mix of humans and cyborgs. The oldest the the group, his left eye obstructed by a cybernetic implant and his silver hair tied into a neat pony tail, looks Nemiria over. "Hello little lady, you lost?"

The dark figure in the robes makes no indication that they have even noticed you. It is perfectly still minus simple breathing movements.

Nemiria looks up to the man who adressed her and bites on the left side of her lower lip "I wish it would be like this. But I came to this planet because I wanted to. I did not expect it to be so" she manages to look nearly desperate while searching for words "violent". She takes a deep breath "And now I am here and need to go somewhere on this planet with all those horrible things happening and find something else the business of my family will be ruined and my younger siblings sold as slaves to the hutts"

The elder mercenary appear unmoved. "Sorry, lady. Not my problem." The old mercenary returns to his drinking, and proceeds to ignore. The other seem to follow his lead in ignoring you, all except one. He appears to be the youngest, and has not stopped staring at you since you arrived.

The young man has unbelievably blue eyes, and tight fitting fiber meshes showing off the tightly muscled body of a melee combat specialist. On his back hangs a long, narrow and curved vibrosword.

He is a pretty young man. Borderline androgynous.

"Indeed it is not your problem" Nemiria takes her glass and takes a sip of it before giving the young man a smile then turns around to walk back to the bar. She looks at the person in the cape again and gives them a slight nod when passing and also eyes the soldiers again.

The man in the robes makes no indication that he has noticed her presence, and the soldiers appear to huddled tightly together ignoring everything outside of their little circle.

The young man breaks away from his group after a short argument with the old mercenary he jogs up to Nemiria. "Err, hey! Lady... I, um, I might be able to help you." He scratches the back of his neck and eyes the floor. His silver hair hangs over his face obscuring his eyes

Nemiria turns her head to look up to the young man "you would be willing to help me? Really?" she smiles to him as if she would not believe his words "I did not think that there are still people who are willing to help. But it might be dangerous I would never want somebody to risk a lot for me".

The naive young man smiles nervously, "I've seen my share of danger, miss. Don't you worry about me. So, tell me. What is it you need exactly?"

Nemiria keeps smiling to the young man "I can not say how much I appreciate this." she starts to knead her fingers while looking up to him "I need to travel into an area in which a lot of fighting takes place to pick up something from dangerous beasts"

The young man tries his best to look confident. "Well, I happen to have my very speeder. I can get you where you need to go." He reaches over his shoulder and pats the long blade on his back. "And I can protect you from the beasts."

Nemiria follows the movement of his hand with her eyes "That looks impressive. And you know how to use it? I think I never met a man before who had a weapon like this. You must have gotten into so many adventures. But how big is your speeder could it transport something big?"

He nods excitedly. "Oh yes, I have been trained in the Echani martial styles since I could walk. I know my way around her." He furrows his eyebrows at her next question. "Err, well... it's more built for speed. I suppose we could tether an anti-grav platform to the back, we'll just travel a bit slower. We got a couple for transporting prisoners... That could work?"

Nemiria ponders for a moment then nods several times "that could work very well." then she looks questioning up to him "you transport prisoners? Are you a member of the empire? This is so impressive" her voice becomes slightly higher while she pretends to be more impressed and excited.

The young man shrugs non-chalantly. "Well, we've been hired by the the Empire to fight the resistance here on Balmorra. They don't hire too many non-Mandolorian mercs, but our clan is pretty skilled." He's clearly proud to have earned himself a place among them. "Alright, well. Lets get you on your way Miss...?"

"Oh fighting the resistance that is very important. I am glad that you are helping the empire to be a better place with less troublemakers" she nods "yes we can go if you are ready. My name is Adegana Firescraper and yours?"

He bows respectfully, "Endris Hast, at your service, Ms. Firescraper." He turns toward the doorway, "This way, quickly. Before the old man changes his mind..." The elder mercenary from the group seems to be eyeing you suspiciously.

The dark robed person at the bar still appears to be waiting for something as he hasn't moved an inch. While the group of off-duty soldiers seem to have gone back to work.

Nemiria follows Endris closely in tiny fast steps as if she would not be used to wear pants. She does not look to the group of mercenaries and focuses Endris back as they leave.

Outside the cantina, the sun is high and the sky is bright. Enris leads you to a line of Aratech model speeder, beautifully kept and state of art. Next to those is a series of hovering platforms one of which, Endris ties to the back of a silvery speeder that can only be his own.
The model is a bit older than the others, but you can tell it's well taken care of.
 "This is our ride." He gesture to the speeder with a smile of a proud father.

Nemiria looks over the speeders. Then walks to the he showed to her "How do I use it? Do you think I am able to ride something really fast?" she bites on her lower lip again before walking to the speeder and struggling to climb onto it. "Could you help me maybe Endris?" she looks over to him and makes an embarrassed face.

He blushes and smiles nervously. "We will be... erm, riding together. Unfortunately, I only have the one speeder." He looks at the ground, fidgeting.

Nemiria smiles to him and looks thankful "that is way better I would never have been able to drive this myself. I would have been so embarrassed if I would have done something stupid just because you know I normally do not have to deal with things like that."

Endris sighs in relief and climbs onto the speeder. The seat extends a bit behind him allowing for another person to sit directly behind. "Ahem... there are handles on the sides of the seat. Or, umm, you can hold onto me if you like." He starts the engine on the speeder and waits for her to board.

Nemiria steps a bit closer and reaches out for his shoulder "I hope you do not mind" she bites on her lower lip and climbs onto the speeder still holding his shoulder "I am so sorry for being so bad in this" she lets herself fall onto the seat and grabs the handles. "Is there something I have to do to make sure that I do not fall off?"

 "No worries, Miss. Just hold on tight." He smiles to himself and pulls back the throttle on the speeder making it lurch forward and begin accelerating. He yells over his shoulder, "So! Where are we heading!?"

"I will do so, thank you" she points into the direction of the Ballmorran Arm's factory "we need to travel in this way." she shuffles forward on her seat to be able to follow it's movements better. "The things I need to pick up are there"

Endris blushes slightly as he feels her move a little closer. He nods shortly and heads into the indicated direction accelerating the speeder faster.

Nemiria looks up to the sky then back to the head of the man in front of her. "Do you think we will get in danger?"

At that moment a mortar explodes the ground about 10 meters away. Endris doesn't appear to be phased by it. "Absolutely." He grins imagining how cool he must have just sounded.

Nemiria gasps "oh I see" she moves closer to him and whispers "I am so glad that you help me I do not know at all how to reward you for all of this, thank you"

Her breath on his ear sends a chill down his spine, he takes a deep breath and calms himself, blushing furiously. "No thanks necessary ma'am. Helping those in need is thanks enough." A high whistling can be heard over head and Endris swerves to the left hard, avoiding another mortar blast skillfully.

Nemiria instinctively follows the movement of the speeder with her body and bites hard on her lower lip to avoid swearing. She started to get tired of playing innocent and helpless but it served her needs so well. Although she would have enjoyed way more to be the driver. She rolled with her eyes supposing that he could not see her face and gasped "They are trying to kill us"

Endris shakes his head, "Nah, this is a battle zone. They're firing wildly from their base, the resistance isn't very well trained. They're just sprayin' and prayin'. Don't worry, miss. They high pitched whistling gives away its landing position long before it hits. I'll keep you safe." He points toward a structure sticking out of the side of a mountain about 10 kilometers away. "We're almost there!"

Nemiria shuffles on her seat and makes sure that her chest gets pressed a few times against his back then pulls out her data pad "I need to get to the following coordinates ..." she then reads the coordinates to him "I am so glad that you know this place so well"

He tenses each time she presses against him and he dials the coordinates into the GPS unit on his speeder. "Ah! I know this place, popular with black market dealings. It's usually pretty quiet." He nods and smiles as they steadily approach their destination.

"Black market?" she manages to get a slight shivering into her voice "I did not expect something like that. But I really want to save my siblings" she moves even closer to him as she was now in real need for his strength and protection.

He swallows hard as she gets even closer, still blushing. They pull up to the entrance to one of the factories. "W-We're here." No one is around to greet you, though there appear to be signs of battle.

Her nostrils widen for a moment as she inhales the air deeply trying to smell any scents of smoke then she slides off the Speeder, ready to jump behind it in case that they suddenly get attacked. She looks to Endris "Is it always so empty?" she keeps her voice low so that she nearly whispers.

Endris steps off the speeder and nods. "Yeah, unless there's a deal going on." He nods toward the entrance to the factory. "Usually inside there... Who are these people that took your siblings? Criminals? Resistance?"

 Nemiria sighs "It is a bit more complicated. The hutts took them after my father failed in delivering something they left me the option of going here to pick something up for them and to bring it to hutta, else they will sell my siblings." she shivers "I did not think that it would be so dangerous"

Endris nods resolutely and gestures to the entrance again. "Whatever it is must be in there if it the hutts we're dealing with." He starts moving toward the factory confidently. "Usually the marketeers are pretty amicable, I'm sure this won't be any trouble."

Nemiria looks to Endris and nods and whispers "thank you again" then walks towards the factory and enters it.

As you enter, a large warehouse opens up, almost completely empty. The factory appears to be abandoned. You quickly notice several dead bodies littered throughout the room leading toward a large pile of boxes, which you can only assume is your target. --

However, you can see the silhouette of a figure lying casually atop the pile. He appears to be waiting for something.
Endris notices the bodies as well and draws his blade, putting himself between you and the figure, who is now climbing lazily to his feet.
Nemiria wrinkles her nose at the corpses and looks up to the figure on top of the pile of boxes. She looks up to the person and shrugs slightly "I guess you were waiting for me?" her voice is her own again and she moves way more secure.
The figure hops down gracefully from the pile and steps into the light. Right away, you note that he is a Sith pureblood. Though, he is dressed in a long black coat not typical of the Sith, he still sport two lightsabers on his hips. The pureblood smirks, "Afraid not sweet heart. I assume you're here for these?" He points over his shoulder toward the pile of goods.

"A pity I always had heard rumors of the special talents of your kin and you are right I am indeed here for those." she smirks to him "do you have any objections against me taking them with me?"

Endris furrows his eyebrows, noting her suddenly calm demeanor. He looks confused, but shakes his head quickly returning his focus to the Pureblood, blade still drawn.

The pureblood folds his arms over his chest, "Sorry love, I'm afraid I do." He looks to Endris, "Put that away, son. You could put someone's eye out with that thing."

Nemiria gives Endris a smile "I do not want you to get hurt, I think it might be better if you put your blade away" she then looks to the pureblood "oh I am sorry to hear that. What makes you mind them to be transported away? I mean you are a pureblood what could those boxes mean to you? And this friendly gentleman" she points to Endris "brought me here so that I would be able to pick them up"

The pureblood nods toward the bodies littered throughout the warehouse. "I assume they were waiting you. I'm sorry to say my client wants these items for himself and has hired me to take them. You are not my client, sweetie."

Endris' eyes widen slightly. The light of recognition in his eyes, he keeps his blade drawn looking nervous.
Nemiria shrugs "well how can we be sure that your client and my client are not the same person? And I am sure you would prefer working with me than against me." she looks up and down at him "I think that could be beneficial for both of us"

The pureblood continues to smirk, knowingly. "The resistance can't afford Echani mercs, sweet heart. And you both look too clean and well fed to be working for free. No, I'm pretty sure you're who these goods were meant for." He keeps his arms folded over his chest. "You're welcome to leave, I won't stop you. But you're not getting these goods, kiddies."

Endris speaks up, "Have a heart, man! The hutt cartell will sell this poor woman's family in slavery if she doesn't deliver these goods to them!"

The pureblood makes mock pouty face, "Aww, that's a shame."

Nemiria blushes at Endris words "I am sorry but that was a blatant lie Endris." she sighs "I am hired to get those goods off planet. But they will not used to save anybody" she turns her head to Zurseer "Are you sure that you want to keep working on a planet like this for a long time? To me you look more like a man who knows how to enjoy himself"

Endris looks like you just hit him in the stomach. "The old man was right... Why...why did you lie to me?" The pureblood answer. "To use you, you bafoon. God, killing you will be worse than killing a puppy." He turns his attention to Nemiria.

"Don't assume to know my schedule, sweet heart. You two should leave, my contacts will be arriving soon. "
Nemiria gives a Endris a look full of pity "The old man was right, I am sorry" then pulls out her data pad and looks up to the sky "My ship will be here soon as well. I am sure that your contacts are able to deal with an air attack are they?" she smirks "So I think it should be you who should take his leave and as much as I used him I do not want you to kill him but I am here to do a job" she makes a gesture with her hand "leave pureblood you are underestimating me"
The pureblood grins and draws his lightsabers, igniting them as he pulls them from his hips. The red blades hum ominously. "These factories can and have survived worse than what you can offer... there is a reason your people chose it as an exchange point. You're beginning to bore me..."

Endris looks crestfallen, but takes a deep breath and resets his fighting stance. "I promised I would protect you, Ms. Firescraper... if that's even your real name. And I don't break promises."
Nemiria looks up to the roof "I did not mean to bomb the factories but the path here is not as protected. Your contacts might be dead already. So how about a deal? I get what I was hired for and you get 20% of what I get paid and I might even be willing to take a drink with you"
The pureblood shakes his head slowly. "10 minutes."
Endris sets his jaw and holds his ground.

Nemiria ponders for a moment and smiles "well I can go up with my offer. How about 30% and I take two drinks with you"

The pureblood is unmoved. "Desperation is a stinky perfume, dearie. 5 minutes."

Nemiria shrugs then lifts her arm to smell at her axle "Good that I do not smell like it then" she grins. "I also can offer you a trip off this planet"
The pureblood just stares at her. "2 minutes."

Shouts can be heard coming in from behind Zurseer, distantly. But echoing from inside the factory. "That would my client. Coming in through the underground network." Said with a bored look on his face.

Nemiria glares at him and turns slightly to look at Endris "leave" then she turns back to the pureblood again "Oh are they? What will they say if they find you in a discussion with somebody else about how to take those goods off planet?"
Endris looks at her for a moment and shakes his head once. "Absolutely not."

The pureblood. "Eugh, you're pathetic women. Give it up, and save yourself some trouble. The resistance is mostly men... I'm sure they would love to have prisoner like you." The pureblood smirks as he looks her over.
The footsteps in the distance are getting louder, and closer.

The pureblood tilts his head to the side. "Tick tock tick tock, sweet heart."
Nemiria looks disgusted "They eventually would, but they are men and men talk a lot and they would loose their support if they did anything like that and I doubt that they could keep it quiet. Somebody always talks" she straightens her shoulders and stares at Zurseer. "You are sick how could you even think of something like that, are you so horrible that this is the way you get women?" her body is tensed and her cheeks reddened in anger.
The pureblood rolls his eyes, utterly disinterested. About a dozen heavily armed men come pouring into the room, bearing the markings of the resistance. The pureblood chuckles, "I guess times up. I'd run if I were you, darling."
Endris looks concerned and looks worriedly to Nemiria. "Miss... He may be right... It's...umm.." He swallows hard and reset his stance.

The men fall into a firing line in front of the pureblood point their weapons in the direction of Nemiria and Endris.

Nemiria nods to Endris words "I think you might be right." she swears "Let's leave"

Endris looks over his shoulder at her with a nod and starts backing towards her, keeping himself between her and gunners.
A man, who appears to be in charge steps up next to the pureblood. "Halt! Who are you people!?" The pureblood places a hand on his shoulder. "Relax, Captain. They were just leaving."

Nemiria can not help but glares at the pureblood. Then walks backwards out of the facility.

The captain frowns at the pureblood and nods reluctantly allowing their safe passge. The pureblood waves, "Ta-ta! You two be good now!"

Endris sheathes his blade as soon as they're both outside. "Come on, Ms... Whatever your name is. I'll drive you back to the port." His demeanor is cold, but he's clearly still willing to help.

Nemiria looks up to Endris and nods slowly "My real name is Nemiria Eisvogel, I am in the transport business but it seems like I pretty much failed today" she sighs and climbs onto the speeder "who would have thought that they use sith now to make sure to get certain goods"

Endris starts the engine on his speeder. "That was the "Red Devil". He's no more Sith than I am, he's a mercenary. We're lucky to be alive..." The pulls the throttle less gently than early and pulls quickly away from the factory.

Endris doesn't say a word the entire ride back to the station, deftly weaving in and out of danger he seems much more ambivalent to her presence than before.

"That name fits to him. For whom does he work? I mean who were those men?" she pauses "I am sorry that I lied to you, but I just did not see an other way to get where I needed to go. I am sorry" she looks embarrassed.

Endris sighs and his demeanor softens when she apologizes, but he tries to remain cold; knowing full well she could just be manipulating him again. "Resistance forces."

"At least then I know where that stuff went. I guess I should leave the planet soon and inform my client" she was somehow glad and angry at the same time "If you want I give you my real contact data I owe you a lot. So please ask me for a favor if you ever need to leave this planet"

Endris looks her in the eye. You can the shame in his expression. "Good bye, Ms. Eisvogel. I hope we do not meet in the future." He unties the anti-grav platform and turns toward the cantina; preparing himself for embarrassment.

Nemiria lowers her eyes as he looks in hers. "I am sorry" she repeats her words again. "I hope you stay alive for a long time - you are worth it" she turns around and heads to the space port.

Endris enters the cantina without looking back, disappearing into its doorway. The space port is much like you remember it from this morning. People coming and going, imperial soldiers and various mercenaries.

Nemiria heads to her hangar bay. And leans against the door of her ship while trying to somehow stomach the events of the day.

PD-553 approaches. "Good evening, Ms. Firescraper. I hope your stay was a good one. Are you preparing to leave?"

"Yes, I am intending to do so. I was hindered by the resistance so I could not accomplish what I wanted to do but yes I will leave"

PD-553 bows. "The resistance will not last much longer under the pressure of Empirer, my lady. Long live the Emperor." The droid rises from his bow, "I will take the liberty of making preparations for your departure. I sincerely hope I was able to be of assistance during your stay."

 "You were of great assistance, Long live the Emperor" she bows "am I allowed to board my ship?"

 "Of course, Ms. Firescraper. It should only be a few more minutes before you can depart. Thank you got visiting, Balmorra. Travel safely." PD-553 offers a short robotic bow and hobbles away.

 Nemiria steps away from the door of her ship and waits the door to open and walks through it. Back on Board she seems to sink together and leans against the wall again. She kicks off her shoes and throws her socks into a corner then walks into the cockpit and starts the engines.

The intercom switches on. "Ms. Firescraper? You are cleared for take off. Travel safely, long live the Empire."

"Long live the empire" she shuts down the intercom and flies the ship out of the hangar before starting to accelerate to fly back in space. After programming the auto pilot to brink her back to Coroscant she walks to her bed and falls into it while still wearing her clothes.

Mandalorian Ale and other blondes

Nemiria put a bunch or credits on the bar and then waited for the bartender to server her the drink she had ordered. A sigh escaped her lips, lately they always wanted her to pay before she got something to drink. She closed her fingers around the glass when finally receiving what she had ordered and walked away from the bar to lean against a wall while drinking.

Ødd enters the cantina and takes a quick survey of his surroundings. The bar is busy, and smells heavily of spilled alcohol and smoke with a hint of vomit. Ødd inhales deeply through his nostrils and a smile spreads accross his face. He takes a few long strides up to the bar and makes eye contact with the bar tender, who nods in recognition and brings Ødd his drink without so much as a word.

Nemiria emptied half of her glass then just kept leaning against the wall. With her heel of her left leg she started to play around with a ball of paper somebody must have thrown onto the floor. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a cigarette which she then tried to light with the same hand just to swear when realizing that her lighter was not willing to serve her at all.

While leaning against the bar, Ødd notices the frustrated women trying to light her cigarette. He smiles to himself and makes his way over to the lady. Ødd raises his arm in front of her a lights up the flame thrower on his wrist, making a flame for the woman to light her cigarette. "Looks like you could use a light, sweet heart."

Nemiria opens her eyes wide when suddenly having a flamethrower in front of her nose. She looks startled for a moment then bends lightly forward and lightens her cigarette at his flame thrower. She leans back and smiles up to him "I never thought they could be so useful" she nods in the direction of the flame thrower "Thank you Mister".

Nemiria
Ødd nods to Nemiria, "Naturally, I've never been one to leave a pretty young lady distressed." The bartender shouts from accross the room, "HEY! NO OPEN FLAMES! C'mon MAN! PUT THAT OUT!" Ødd casually switches the flame thrower off and waves at the the bartender. "The name's Ødd." He puts his hand out to Nemiria.

Nemiria takes the offered hand while grimacing at the bartender before looking back to Odd again "This is good, I like men with fire" she grins "my name is Nemiria"

Ødd grins at comment and turns her hand over and places a kiss on the top of it, "A pleasure, Nemiria." He lets go her hand to light his own cigar. "Can I buy you a drink, sweet heart?"

Nemiria succeeds in not snickering as he kisses her hand and nods "I am sure you can actually I think it is a wonderful idea. And how about me letting you choose the drinks? " she still smiles then pushes herself off the wall. "I hope you do not mind if I acompany you back to the bar?"

Ødd nods, "I wouldhave it no other way. Lets see what kind of drinker you are, hm?" He drains his cup and leads Nemiria to the bar behind him. Once there, he gestures to the bar tender who quickly brings two large mugs of a thick black ale and places them down in front of Ødd. "Mandolorian Black. Nothing like it in the galaxy." Ødd grins knowingly as he passes the large mug to the little lady next to him.

Nemiria grins "I am the best kind of course, I only fail in lightning cigarettes but you were so kind to solve that problem for me" she takes a last drag of hers and throws it onto the floor to stomp onto it to turn off the fire. "A good choice although I normally prefer drinks to be a bit more intense" her hands close around the mug so that she can lift it with both before taking a sip. "I had no clue that they serve it even here."

Ødd quirks an eyebrow at her comment. "More intense, hm? Brave words." He looks her over, noting her slight frame and how large the mug looks in her hand. "A toast? To open to flames and damsels in distress." He raises his mug to her.

Nemiria raises her mug to his words "a good toast you seem like a man of interesting taste Ødd" she turns around so that she can lean against the bar while looking to him "What does a man with a love for fire do on a planet like this?"

Ødd ponders the question briefly. "Well, why does anyone frequent catinas in the seedy underbelly of the Republic capitol world? To lie low, of course." He takes a drag from his cigar and blows the smoke through his nostils. "What about you? What brings a little thing like you to this shit hole?" The bartender glares at Ødd, who completely ignores him. "You gotta be either brave or stupid to come into a place like this by yourself, lookin' like that."

Nemiria empties her mug and slowly turns her hips before completely turning to the bar to place it there. "That is true, but the drinks are cheap and you hardly meet any official here. I like it and maybe I am stupid and brave at the same time or I just know how to hurt when it is needed." she looks up at him "you might be way taller than me but you might not be faster or not able to get into corner I can get in. Or are you trying to offer me your services as a chaperone?". Her lips are still curled to a grin while she waits for his answer

Ødd smirks as she defends her reasoning for being there. "You're tenacious, at least. I'm no one's chaperone, and it doesn't sound like you really need one." Rests one elbow on the bar and leans against it. "You never answered my question though, you just here for a good time?"

Nemiria leans onto the bar as well and keeps looking to him her right foot resting on the back of her left knee. "I do not need one indeed, and I am here because I am waiting for a job. But it looks like people are not really in need of my services." she shrugs "I am a free freight shipper. I pick up freight and deliver it somewhere else. But as there is not really anything going on I thought I also could try to have a good time".

Ødd raises his eyebrows when she explains her profession. "You're freelance, you say?" He rubs his chin in thought. "Interesting. How long you been at it?"

Nemiria nods "It has more benefits than working for others or joining organisations, I like being able to decide myself what I transport and so on. I am doing this now about 4 or 5 years"

"What kind of merch to do handle? Is it all legal or....?" Ødd tils his head to the side, genuinely taking interest in her job.

"All kinds of" she keeps looking at him "I pick it up at some place and bring it somewhere else, sometimes the freight is not happy to be transported but normally quite willing to follow me to my ship first. But normally I just transport normal stuff like weapons or other supplies"

Ødd can't help but smile at her candor. "That's a long time to straddle the law like that, I'm impressed."
Nemiria winks at him "I have a very honest face, I guess. So as I told you what kind of work I do, why do you need to hide at a place like this?"

Ødd shrugs casually, "You're going to need more than a honest face to get me to spill the beans. You be undercover." He smirks playfully. "How do I know I can trust you, sweet heart?"

Nemiria curls her lips to a grin "Well, do you think I would be willing to work for anybody who would request me to write formal notes, or ask me to wear a uniform" she moves to look at her empty mug "of course you can not know if you can trust me or not but you just said that you got beans to spill and I am sure you are not the kind of man who leaves a woman in suspense"

Ødd notices her sublte glance into her empty mug and gesture toward the bartend for another round. "Well, you know I'm in hiding for -some- reason. You're right however, I don't like leaving women waiting. I'm a mercenary captain, I had a bad run in with some powerful people. We brokered a peace deal... but you know how these sorts things go sometimes."

Nemiria gives him an approving look as he orders the Bartender to fill her mug again "I know" she makes a grimace and pulls up her nose when remembering some situations she had maneuvered herself in. "Things can be nasty. Think of the good side of hiding here. Soon you will be so pale that nobody will recognize you"

Ødd a laugh, "Hah! That's the idea." He looks her over again, appraisingly. "Well, you -sound- like you know what you're doin'. It just so happens that Ihave some equipment that needs moving out of Imperial space. Off of Balmorra to be exact. It's dangerous work, and highly illegal." Ødd takes a drink from his ale, and sitck his cigar back in his mouth. "Interested?"
Nemiria nods "I think I can do that and I am interested. Where on Balmorra is it located?" she looks down to her now filled mug and then lifts it to her lips to take an other sip. "I have done something similar some time ago but I guess you do not want it to be shipped to Corellia or some other planet?"

Ødd shakes his head. "Afraid not, I maintain an old Czerka mining station orbiting one of the moons of Kashyyk. Deliver the goods there, and I'll pay you 15 grand." He hands her a small data pad, detailing the drop information. "This is will be a good test to see what you're capable of. And, of course, if you get caught. We never met."

Nemiria pulls out her own data pad and makes sure that the data from his gets transfered to hers, before handing him his data pad back "Of course we never met. My lack of contacts is outstanding and very useful. So are there any things I should know? Is there something which needs special treatment or special packaging? Some equipment can be quite easy to destroy and I unfortunately never managed to get an insurance against damages caused by the transport"

Ødd shakes his head again. "No special instructions for the equipment. Just treat it like you would your usual illicit cargo. The trick is for you to make it through the Imperial blockade around that planet, and not get arrested or my equipment confiscated. I'm still not sure if you're as capable as you say or if you're just swagger." He grins toothily. "Lets hope it's not the latter." He drains his mug and looks her over again, this time with a much more lascivious intent. "I think this could be the star t of a beautiful relationship." Ødd looks over the bartender, "Zild! Keep this little bird in her cups for the night, on me." The bartender looks up cleaning a glass with a nod and a shrug. "Alright, sir. It's your credits..." Zild returns to his cleaning duties, shaking his head knowingly.
With that, Ødd turns to leave. "See you soon, sweet heart."

Nemiria nods to his instructions "Well you will only know when I deliver your equipment." she empties her mug and pushes herself up to lean back and to stretch "I am sure it could be. Useful and interesting" she looks to Odd "I will go now I am looking forward to more Mandalorian Black soon"

Ødd continues to leave without another word.

Training

Koyu hears his holocom beeping and flicks it on. "What is it, apprentice? This had better be important. I am quite busy right now." In the background, out of sight, you can hear the desperate pleas of a man begging for mercy. The man sounds weak, and he's panting heavily.

Koyu does not seem to notice.

Täbris hopes that it is not seeable through the holocom that her skin turns white when she hears the pleas of the man "I got the information you asked me to obtain. Do you allow me to report to you in person or do you prefer it through this medium?"

Koyu nods his approval. "In person. What is your position?" The man's pleas have turned a soft sobbing. Koyu, still not acknowledging the voice.

"I am on Balmorra, Master. In the imperial zone." she looks straight at Koyu. "Do you wish me to stay there or shall I travel to you?"

Koyu maintains eyecontact."I will come to you." Koyu switches off the holocom unceremoniously.

Täbris frowned when leaving the base. Her master had ordered her to come back on his ship. It was a slight surprise as Täbris had expected him to meet her on the base. She supposed the worst, bad food - which was not even worth to be called food, hours of demanding training and meditation. And she remembered that her behaviour had not pleased him the last time they had met in person.
After entering his ship, she quickly went to her room to place her luggage there then went to Koyu's chamber to greet him.

Koyu watches her pass him by without even so much as a bow, making mental note of the individual slights she had made since his return from captivity. As she hurriedly passes him by, two HK droids can be seen dragging an unconscious, broken man toward the air lock. The mans face is battered and bloodied, while his clothes are in tattered, the scraps are charred and burnt

Koyu folds his arms over his chest and waits patiently for his apprentice to return to the main room.
He reminds himself to make time, after this hunt is over, to remind his apprentice why he is a Lord of the Sith and she is still an apprentice.

Täbris-and-Koyu

Täbris returns to Koyu and bows "Greetings Lord Koyu thank you for comming in person" she does not look at the broken man and focuses on her master.

"Report." Koyu's voice is gruff, and low. The irritation in his voice is practically tangible. The extensive corruption caused by his intimacy with the dark side is particularly visible at the moment as his eyes shine red and black veins spider-web their way from his temples and the corners of his mouth.

Täbris nods "The person who hired Odd to torture and kill you is a female jedi with the name Natrissa Sinerius. She is a pureblood" she looks into Koyu's face to see if there are any reactions. "Odd was not very willing to talk I had to promise him that he would not be hunted for his actions as well as I had to pay him but I was able to hagle". She folds her hands behind her back and waits on eventual orders.

Koyu furrows his eyebrows briefly when she mentions the Jedi's name. "Sinerius... Interesting." He returns his attention to his apprentice, "Pay the fool whatever he asked. I have no interest in hunting down some Jedi bitch's lackey. After the damage I did to his organization he wouldn't dare take a contract on me again."

Koyu rubs his chin thoughtfully. "You've done well apprentice. You're abilities in reconnaissance and information gathering are coming along nicely. Your awareness, and sense of self preservation desperately need work. You have grown arrogant in my absence. This is unacceptable. Things are beginning to get dangerous for us and your childish, rebellious attitude will get you killed." He returns his gaze to Täbris, making eye contact. His eyes, glow like smoldering coals. "Keep in mind, young apprentice. You are replaceable."

Täbris does not move while listening to her master's words. "I will make sure that the transaction is being fulfilled" she repeats the words she already had said to Odd earlier.
Her eyes do not move away from his face during the feedback he gives her about her abilities and behaviour.
When he tells her that she is replaceable she lifts her chin and glares at him "I am well aware that I am replace able for you, you made sure that I would learn about the apprentice you had before me. Isan, that snitch, was very eager to inform me that she ended under his hands".
Her hands find their way to her sides while she squares her shoulders "I have not failed you and also not abused the weakened state you were in. And I kept training, I am not arrogant as that would keep me from learning".

Koyu quirks an eyebrow, "Not arrogant? Just disrespectful then. You have no idea how fortunate you are to have me for a master. For numerous reason, not least which is my seemingly bottomless well of patience concerning your attitude. You appear to be mistaking my leniency for weakness; other Lords would tortured you and then killed you had you treated them as you have treated me. Lucky for you, I still see value in you. You're a raw iron lump, useful in itself, but yet to be refined and hammered to perfection."

He takes a sudden step forward and attempts to grab her under her chin.

Her eyes follow his eyebrow but her features stay calm while she listens to his point of view on their relationship. Täbris nods slightly although she furrows her brow while pondering about the question if she really had shown a lack of respect. "I am sorry, I had understood you in a way that you would dislike formalities."
Her eyes flicker in surprise as he grabs her under her chin. Expecting to be choked or something similar she takes a deep breath while forcing herself to focus on her Master's face instead of on the wall behind him.

Koyu's grip is firm, but not painful. His touch his almost tingly however, you begin to realize why as you see arcs of electricity crawling over his face and arms. "We have a great deal of work ahead of us. The Sinerius family is dangerous and very... muddy. You are not ready." Maintaining his firm grip on her chin he turns her head to the side in an effort to expose her neck.

((He's trying to sense her emotions, this is something he's very good at. You can try to resist, or you can just tell me how she feels outright and out of character. If you want to resist I'll will find a dice rolling program we can use simultaneously.))

Not really understanding or knowing what was happening Täbris strained her muscles to be prepared for eventual pain. She did not want to show her confusion and fear at all. Having to deal with Isan and Odd who both had treated her in a way she had not expected, had been stressful for her, especially Isan whom she had seen kill. She had been glad when Koyu had reappeared. The time without him had been calm without real challenges but an apprentice with a weak master would not be taken serious, at least not in her opinion. So she wanted him to be strong. Now he seemed to question her loyality and her respect which was even more confusing. She had the impression not to be able to communicate with Koyu which frustrated her deeply.
"This pureblood I observed on Nar Shaddaa belongs to it, does he?"
She did not move her eyes when he turned her head to the side.

Koyu leans in close to her neck and inhales deeply through his nose, "You stink of uncertainty. You are confused, apprentice." As he pulls away you may note his countenance has suddenly changed. No more does his visage represent the barely restrained hostility you witnessed just moments before. Now, your master Koyu, his skin pale and eyes silver as you remember them. "Perhaps I have been mistaken..." He gestures to the HK droids waiting patiently by the airlock with the unconscious man still held tightly in their grasp. The droids promptly jettison the sleeping guest into cold space.

"Yes, the pure-blood, Zurseer Sinerius. Last of his line of rogues. His mother is a turn coat Jedi... Apparently still nursing her maternal instinct. She must have found that I have been closing in on Zurseer for some time now." At this point Koyu realizes he is still holding Täbris' chin and releases her unceremoniously. "You need training. Zurseer is an extremely deadly opponent... and his mother was a Lord of the Sith while I was still an acolyte. Together, they would be extremely difficult to bring low..." Koyu takes a moment to rub his own chin in thought. "I will need to time to think up a proper plan of action. In the mean time, you will return to living with me on this ship. And we will continue your physical training."

Koyu turns to walk towards his chambers.

Täbris holds her breath when Koyu inhales the scent of her neck. She does not twitch when hearing the sound of the airlock and only nods to his words.
When hearing that Zurseers mother is a jedi she slightly raises her eyebrow. "If she was able to set up such a scheme she might still be touched by the dark side".
She does not question his words about her need of training although she remembers the state the pureblood was in when she saw him the last time.
"He did not seem like somebody who has a family".
When he moves away she slightly bows "Yes, Master" asuming that he is aware of what she does no matter where he is looking at.

Täbris went back to her room after Koyu left. She put her luggage back to the places it belonged to then set down on the floor to meditate on the dark side. Her eyes were orange as she opened them again to go to take a shower, brush her teeth and get ready for sleep. After an other 15 minutes of meditation she went to sleep in her bed.

Koyu enters his apprentice's room approximately 4 hours later, switches the lights on and barks orders loudly, "Wake, apprentice! We have much to do, and you have training." Koyu is clad in just a pair of trousers. His chest is bare, as are his feet. Now visible, you can see the further extent of the mercenary's tortue as long scars snake their way across Koyu's chest. On his shoulder he carries two long staffs, clearly he has his mind set on combat training. "Get up, Täbris. Wear something you can move in. I will be in the main room." As he turns around, you may note his back tells the tail of a thousand whip lashings. Some newer, but some much, much older.

Täbris makes some protesting noises and squints her eyes while adjusting to the sudden brightness. She pushes herself up so that she can turn and sit on her bed. The orange glow in her eyes has not completely disappeared yet but it had become less intense. She spreads her toes for a moment then moves forward to stand up and nods "I will be right there". Her voice is still filled with sleep.As her master leaves the room she looks at the scars on his back. She is not sure if the scars were caused by the torture Koyu had gone through or if they were older but she does not ask.
After she is alone again she slips out of her nightdress and into her training outfit. She also does not put on shoes and heads to the main room to meet Koyu there.

Koyu waits patiently for his apprentice to make her way into the room, as she enter he tosses her one of the training staffs. It's much heavier than a lightsaber, but well balanced. "Our primary target is an incredibly skilled melee combatant. You and I individually are no match for him, but together, we may bring yet another traitor down in the name of emperor. Before we have any hope to handling Zurseer, we must train your mind and your body."

He twirls the heavy steel pole effortlessly over his head, then behind his back and swings it horizontally bring it to an abrupt stop at his side. "From this point on you will cease to use your lightsaber, while either training your technique alone or sparring with me."

Täbris reaches out to catch the staff with one hand then makes a step backwards to balance out the impact of the throw and the weight of the training staff. She lifts it testingly to see how the different weight might influence her movements and nods "I will become way faster and stronger".

Koyu takes a casual step forward, the staff rests under his arm. "Combat stance. I assume I do not have to tell you, that I require you to always be in the centered state?" He looks over his body, eyes her muscles and potential weaknesses in her form.

Täbris gets into combat stance as soon as she is asked to do so. She nods when he tells her that she is supposed to be always in the centered state. It seems like she is looking at him while she is using the centered state to look for possible benefits the room could give her. Her stance is calm and only the slight movement of her toes show her eagerness to fight.

Koyu jabs the staff forcefully into the backside of her upper thigh, just beneath her buttock. "You're putting too much weight on your front leg, you must evenly distribute you're weight and shift from front leg to back leg. Constantly and subtly." He drags the staff over her buttock and up her spine, painfully. "Straighten your posture."

Täbris straightens her posture and makes sure to shift her weight to her back leg and back to her front leg while still holding her staff in position. Her feet are flat on the floor and her movements are subtle.
Her eyes are directed forward and her fingers closed around the staff while her thumb is pressed against it.

Koyu continues to circle her, appraising her new poster. He strikes the heel of her foot sharply with the staff. "Stay on the balls of your feet."

Täbris bites on her lower lip as the staff hits the feel of her foot and moves on the ball of her feet. Her toes no curled and pressing against the floor.

Koyu circles around to the front of her, sliding easily into his own stance. He keeps the staff tucked under back arm and extends his front to her with his palm outward, toward his apprentice. "You're ready..." Koyu closes his eyes and inhales through his nostrils. "Strike me."

Täbris closes her eyes as well to avoid to get confused by having to deal with two ways of seeing at once. She takes a deep breath and uses her staff to stab forward aiming at Koyu, not even caring if she would hit with that strike or not, imediatly after stabbing forward she pulls the staff back and moves it around her back so that it turns and grabs it with her left hand to try to swirl it against Koyu's side.

Koyu absorbs the blow to his midsection with a slight wince as the impact surprises him. Taking the opportunity while he staff is extended to strike the inside of her knee and follow it with a short jab with the top of his staff to her mouth.

Täbris: 1D100+10 => 58
Täbris: 1D100+5 => 97

Täbris takes a sharp breath when Koyu's staff hits her at the back of her knee. She shifts her weight on her other leg and lifts her staff so that she she can use it to deflect Koyu's second stroke. She makes a step to the side and moves her staff so that she can grab it with both hands and stabs it forward aiming at koyu's hip.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 96
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 58

Koyu plants his feet in anticipation of the blow, surprised by her speed and finesse. He takes blow the to hip with a grunt, using the force of the blow to piroutette while twirling the staff over head and bring the staff hard against her elbow.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 22
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 28

Täbris watches him move his staff and ducks supposing that he was aiming at her head. At the last moment she manages to turn to the side that the his staff does not hit her elbow. Using her turn she makes one step backwards and shifts her weight from her back leg to her front leg using the movement to aim at Koyu's knee.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 57
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 73

Koyu easily deflects the low blow with a twirl of his staff. Maintaining the twirl he spins quickly, building speed and momentnum by continuing to twirl the staff; he brings the staff down onto her shoulder.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 48
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 65

Täbris watches Koyu deflect her blow to keep his technique in mind to see how it would suit her to use it. Then raises her staff to keep him from hitting her shoulder. She uses the impact of his weapon on hers to turn her staff around and try to move it up to hit his elbow.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 21
Koyu: 1D100+20 => 51

Koyu blocks the blow with the center of his staff and with circular motion quickly strikes at her hands with one end of the staff then using the other end for a quick jab at her eyebrow.

Koyu: ((Wait for the second roll if you get hit by the first.))
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 63
Koyu: ((BEat 60))

Täbris gasps when being hit on her hand and bites on her lower lip to even out the pain. She takes a deep breath and lifts her staff to try to defend herself against the hit against her eyebrow.

Täbris: 1D100+10 => 99
Koyu: ((Cool, you don't get disarmed. But you still take -5 on your next defensive roll.))
Täbris: 1D100+5 => 18
 *a cut opens over your right eye, you can feel the warm of fresh blood beginning to flow freely*

Täbris strains the muscles in her face when the staff hits her eyebrow. She struggles for balance for a moment and makes two steps backwards. Her nostrils widen when she can smell the scent of her blood. She does not care about the blood and tries to stay away from Koyu as long to find her balance again then. Runs forward and attempts to stab at his chest before moving her staff to try to hit him at his ellbow.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 57
Täbris: 1D100 => 62

 Koyu: 1D100+30 => 129
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 81

Koyu smirks as she runs in recklessly easily blocking the first blow and then side-stepping the second. As she rushes passed him with the missed attack, he tries to use her momentum against her by striking out at her ankle in an attempt to trip her.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 32
Koyu: ((beat 50 before your next attack.))
Koyu: ((Roll defensive roll normally.))
Täbris: 1D100 => 75
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 88
  *As you move blood drips from the cut over your eye and onto the floor*

Koyu:"Focus, appentice. Use your anger, but do not become reckless."
Täbris glares when Koyu tries to make her trip. She moves and jumps over his staff and tries to move behind him and uses her staff to try to stab him at his kidney. Her tongue escapes her mouth and she licks some bloods of her blood away. Her eyes still closed as she still is in the centered state.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 68
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 47

Koyu moves to block the blow, but ultimately fails as the staff connects with the intended target. He stumbles forward and spins to face his apprentice, swinging the staff upward from the ground in an effort to catch her under the chin.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 41
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 44

Täbris moves her head back to make sure not to get hit on the chin. She makes a step to the side again and moves her staff around her back to try to hit Koyu at the side again before pulling it back and aiming at his hand

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 87
Täbris: 1D100 => 24
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 83
Koyu: 1D100+25 => 106

Koyu absorbs another blow to the midsection; this time without the grimace, but instead he has a smile on his face. He deftly jerks his hand away from the second blow pulling it into a tight spin and finishing it with a sharp thrust into Täbris' throat. He follows the attack with another thrust from the other side of the staff into the top of her bare foot.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 34
Koyu: 1D100+15 => 37
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 102
Täbris: 1D100+15 => 64
 Koyu: ((A proper deflection would mess up my momentum and/or my balance thius making the follow up attack more difficult))

Täbris moves her staff to use it to protect her throat and to push Koyu's staff away. She keeps watching him and pulls her foot away and jumps to the side and forward to get behind his back again. She swirls the staff around her and tries to hit him on the upper section of his back again to try to push him forward and to make him struggle for balance.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 29
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 101

Koyu ducks beneath her next attack and swings low at her feet in an attempt to sweep them from under her.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 48
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 107

Täbris jumps again over his staff and moves forward again aiming on his hand with a stabbing move.

Täbris: 1D100+5 => 63
Koyu: 1D100+30 => 95

Koyu jerks his hand from his staff allowing her blow to clang uselessly off o fit. He smirks, realizing the objective of her last few attacks and returns the favor in kind with two quick swats to the fingers of both hands on her staff.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 94
Koyu: 1D100+15 => 107
Täbris: 1D100+10 => 20
Täbris: 1D100+5 => 6
Koyu: ((Woah, looks like you're using my dice.))
Koyu: ((Alright due to the double failure, beat 90 to not drop your staff.))
Täbris: (what kind of dice should I use?)
Koyu: ((just 1d100))
Täbris: 1D100 => 18
Koyu: ((You are disarmed))

Täbris bites hard on her lower lip as Koyu hits on her fingers. But she does not manage to keep holding her staff and lets it fall onto the floor nearly hitting her feet.

Täbris' Hands turn red but she moves her toes under her staff and tries to bring it up to her hand with a kick

Koyu sees her switch her focus from him to rearming herself and takes the opportunity to wind up another attack, adding a leaping spin and swinging his staff hard across her temple.

Koyu: 1D100+20 => 100
Täbris:1D100 => 7

 Täbris does not manage to react fast enough. Still disabled by the burning pain in her hands she is slowed down and gets hit in the middle of her temple. Her eyes do not even flutter as she goes down like a stone and becomes unconscious before hitting the floor.

Koyu straightens his posture and pop his neck. He watches her unconcious form for a few moments with a smile that could be considered pride. He set the his staff down, scoops her up into his arms and carries her to her bunk; placing her gently into. He leaves briefly, only to return with a wet rag to clean the blood from the cut above her eye and side of her head from the final blow.

The wet rag on her forehead wakes Täbris. Her features show her confusion and she has problems to focus her gaze on Koyu. After a moment she realizes where she is "I am sorry to have failed, I should have protected my hands better and aimed at your joints instead of your torso." She tries to push herself up in the bed but falls back and closes her eyes again.

Ødd and Täbris in a Bar

Täbris leant back on her seat while pondering about the offer of the mercenary. The requested amount was too much. Not only that it was not appropriate comparing to the price of a decent spaceship it was also way more than she could afford. She had the impression that Ødd had been toying with her all the time. She turned her head to look directly to him "I am not going to pay that. How about an exchange of information. You tell me who hired you, and I tell you who told me that it was you who kidnapped Lord Koyu?"

Ødd rubs his chin as he ponders the young apprentice's proposal. "An interesting suggestion. You want me to sell out one of my best clients for the price of a rat? Sorry lady, you're going to have to do better than that." He grins mischievously as his eyes make their way from her head to her feet. "What else ya got?"

Täbris counters his gaze and stares at his face. "They are all rats at the end, aren't they. Not willing to do the dirty work themself and hence hiring you to do it for them. I doubt that you dislike it but still I do suppose that, who ever hired you to kidnap my master can not be one of your best clients.". She gestures to the waitress to order for the mercenary and herself alderaanian beer, then continues "I am well aware of the lack of social skils of my master, I doubt that anybody of real importance would want to see him dead. And instead of my master now most of your men are dead. The whole job was just bad business for you. The credits you request are not pocket money for you, you need it because you lost men and most likely also equipment.".

Ødd raises his eyebrows, his tone heavy with sarcasm. "Well, aren't you clever?" Ødd rolls his eyes and nods to the young Sith. "Yes, I need the money to rebuild my forces. Your master did a lot of damage to my things. And you're correct, my former client is not my best. But they paid. Which is more than what you're offering for me to give them up." He leans back in his chair and take a long drink from his newly refreshed beverage. "As you figured out, I need money not information. You've heard my price for the information, pay up or piss off."

Täbris smirks and takes a sip of her beer. She manages not to make a grimace because of the taste. "I am not going to pay you. But I understand the situation you are in. You are not able to work without equipment and the only thing you got to offer is that information. Unfortunately for you I am the only person who is interested in obtaining it. So how about this I will help you with your next job. You have met my master, I am not as good as him but it was him who trained me and I have fought in battle fields as well as I was able to find out that it was you who has lead the group which kidnapped Lord Koyu. You also know that I want information from you so you can be sure that I will make sure that you do not get killed. And of course it will give you more chances to stare at me".

Ødd shakes his and leans forward. "Look, lady. No offense, but I don't work with your kind. Historically, my men always end up dead when they work with force users." He takes another long drink from his Mandolorian black and puts it down. "I still want money." Ødd smirks, "Unless you something else to offer me, and I'm not much for window shoppin'." He winks and takes another drink.

"Work with force users? You mean kidnapping force users I doubt that you ever worked with some in a normal way." she leans to him and whispers "just a secret you will die anyways some day." she shrugs "I will take my leave then as you are apparently afraid of my presence"

Ødd barks a laugh, "Hah! Don't flatter yourself kid, a whelp like you couldn't possible strike fear into likes of me. I've worked with, for and against many force users. You're all fucked up in some way." He grins as she she takes her leave. "Hate to see you go, sweet heart..." His eyes fall onto her back side. "...but I love to watch you leave. Oh! Tell your master, no hard feelings and I sincerely hope he gets well soon." Ødd leans back in his chair, drains his mug of ale and waves down the waitress for another, seeming to have already forgotten about the Sith apprentice.

She slowly turns around her face calm and her lips curled to a smile "I am sorry to hear that you hate to see me go but unfortunately we both do not seem to come to an agreement and I dislike wasting my time" she gives him a last smile before heading to the bar to pay for their drinks. Her fingers trail nearly thoughtless over her lightsaber as she turns and heads out of the cantina.

Ødd smiles and offers an appreciative nod to the apprentice for paying for the drinks. He leans on his elbow and rests his chin on his fist. His smirk ever present as he watches her walk toward to the door, his lascivious gaze trails lazily across her more feminine body parts.

Täbris smirks while walking out of the bar. She takes a deep breath when stepping finally outside. For a moment she looks up to the sky and makes a grimace. This was for sure not a planet she liked. She decided to walk around the cantina to make sure that there would be only one exit and found a back door. Not wanting to waste the oportunity she wove the force to cloak herself and went back into the cantina to observe the mercenary.

The next round is brought to his table; the scantly clad twi'lek carrying the drinks places the large mug of ale on the table in front of Ødd. With lightning reflexes he snatches the young serving girl's arm above the elbow and brings her in close. He whispers something inaudible into her ear. Initially she looks afraid, but her terror quickly gives way to a fit of giggles. Ødd's grip loosens on her arm as her wraps one heavily muscled arm around the slender twi'lek's waist and pulls her gently onto his lap. Both of them laughing merrily as they make small talk and flirt.

Täbris resists the urge to facepalm and watches the new formed couple for a moment. Then decides that this might take a while and that she could use her time on better ways. She moves away from the wall she had standing at and slides out of the bar again. She calculated that he might need around two hours that would be enough for meditation as well even a short nap.

Ødd stands and follows the twi'lek into the back rooms and disappears for the rest the night and most of the following day.

When he finally reemerges, he walks to the bar and raps his knuckles on the bar top ordering another drink. Once received, he heads to the door with the mug in hand. As he passes the twi'lek from the night before, who is already hard at work serving drinks to patrons, and slaps her on the rear-end causing her to blush and giggle.

Finally outside, he takes a deep breath through his nose and a long swig from his drink; a satisfied smile spreads across his face.

After having decided not to spent her time with watching a mercenary get drunk and layed Täbris had went back to the spaceport. After revealing her identity as sith she had been treated way better than Odd had treated her in the bar. She had expected to be accommodated in bunks but was quite pleased to find herself in a small apartment. The bed was surprisingly comfy so she slept way longer than she had planed.

After waking and a breakfast, which contained pancakes, she decided to see what other benefits her status and her location would offer her so went to get her hair cut, manicure and pedicure.

Then went back to the bar most secure that if he was still on the planet, Odd still would be there as there hardly were any other places to amuse oneself.

Ødd just... keep sipping his drink, enjoying the sunshine and the smell of combat. Still under the impression that Tabris is long gone.

Täbris stepped next to him and looked at his drink "You start early. Are you sure that you still want to refuse my offer? You will not end spending your days on a loosy planet like this while you could be on a place with better entertainment than this" she gestures at the cantina behind them.

Ødd doesn't flinch as she makes her presence known. "Just the hair of dog, sweet heart. You here to renegotiate? Cause frankly, I'm doing just fine right here for now." He takes another drink of her ale.

"I only wanted to make sure that you are well and healthy, You know you got something I want to know and hence I am concerned about your health. That drink for example, you should not start drinking that early or that much. It will not be good for you" she smiles sweetly up to him.

He grins at her feigned concern, "Right, wouldn't want the precious information I have to lock itself away in someone dead skull." He looks down at her, his smile gone. "Have you come to reconsider my offer?" Ødd finishes off his drink and tosses thee empty mug onto the ground.

Täbris makes a step to the side to avoid that she gets hit by rests of the drink which might not have found their way from the bottom of the mug into Odd's mouth "1,5 million credits is way too much. I am disappointed that you did not want to accept my offer to work with you in exchange for that information. Many have found my company most interesting and delightful".

He shrugs in indifference. "I suppose you'll have to find your information elsewhere. I don't work with Sith. I thought I made that clear. 1.5 million is the price of the information, the way I see it... you need me a lot more than I need you. Wouldn't want to disappoint ol' pasty face, would you?" Ødd looks up as a shuttle passes over head. "I won't be on Balmorra for much longer, sweet heart. You may not be able to find me again."

She shrugs as well "You seemed to have drunken a lot when refusing my offer. And of course I do not want to disappoint Lord Koyu." She turns her head as well to look at the shuttle "I found you once I will find you again. But how about this as I am not willing to pay you that amount and you are not willing to accept my offer maybe there is something else which would be beneficial for both of us."

Ødd tilts his head, returning his attention to the young Sith. "I'm listening."

She keeps looking up to him "You need the credits to get some gear. So how about I get you the gear directly?.

Ødd sighs in disappointment. "How much money -can- you get, little girl? I have specific channels that I acquire my equipment through. And I need men more than I need equipment. I don't need whatever garbage imperial tech you think I can use."

She shrugs "I am an apprentice. And I am the apprentice of somebody who does not care about anything but the true sith way. Thinking that I could afford 1,5 Milion credits is ridiculous. But the man problem I might be able to solve for you. I spent the night in the imperial base and learned that they expect a delievery of slaves. Apparently a group of former soldiers who somehow managed not to get executed after breaking imperial law."

"I don't need broken men. You're telling me a Lord of Sith has -no- money? Who the fuck are you trying to kid? I'm not some small-time thief looking for a quick break. I don't need you, or your the garbage your offering. I'm starting to get annoyed, little lady." Ødd pulls a cigar from inside of his jacket, bites the end off and spits it onto the ground. "Money or piss. Off." He then lights the cigar and take a deep drag.

She snickers and shrugs "Well wouldn't you want to keep your money together as well?" she leans against the wall. "You met my master, you can be sure that he is not going to throw money to the person who tortured him. So you will not get more than 95k".

Ødd furrows his eyebrows. "You can stuff 95k. 900k."

Täbris laughs "900k thats way too much I am willing to give you 115k Then you can afford some more of those cigares"

Ødd looks directly into her eyes, "500k, final offer."

Täbris looks into his eyes and forces herself to breath calmly although not really appreciating the smell of smoke he is surrounded in "150k and the name of the snitch who gave me your name"

Ødd offers a half smile. "300k and the name of rat, and you got a deal, sweet heat."

Täbris shrugs "Well how about 250 and the name, then we got a deal."

Ødd scratches his chin thoughtfully. "I settle for 250 and the name of the rat, if I have your master's word that he and his will leave me and mine alone. This exchange settles any problem between us. Deal?"

Täbris nods "I will confirm with my master that he will not hunt for you when he has the name of those who hired you. The name of the rat you can have right now it is Isan. I am sure you remember him. His eyes make those creepy sounds." she gives him a smile "I guess I will find you here in the next hours?"

Ødd grins and nods. "'fraid not, sweetie. Places to go, people to do." He takes another drag from his cigar and leans against the wall next to the young Sith, "You'll be looking a woman. Pure-blood. Jedi. Last name Sinerius. Goes by Natrissa. Not sure why, but she wanted your boy tortured and killed. She had it out for him, in the worst way... Didn't think the Jedi had it in them, but it takes all kinds I guess." He looks up at the sky as anti-aircraft artillery starts firing. "I expect payment by the end of the day, send the credits directly into this account." Ødd hands her a data pad with the relevant account information. "I've given you this information on trust that I'll be paid. I can tip off the Jedi if I don't get my payment, and I've captured your master before. Don't underestimate me. Keep that in mind." He then puts the cigar out on the sole of his boot and flicks the remains into the street. "Let's hope our paths don't cross again."

Täbris reaches out to take the datapad. "I will make sure that the transaction is being fullfilled." She does not comment on his words about Natrissa and just nods. "You might think that I am naive but I am not naive enough to break contracts".

She also does not comment on his wish not to see her again and just turns to make her way back to where she had come from to make a holocall to Koyu.

Back in the place which had been assigned to her for the time of her stay on Ballmora she started a holocall to Koyo.

Ødd smirks, eying her back-side as she walks away before turning back into the cantina and disappearing from site.

Täbris sits down on a chair while wiating that her master answers her call. It is hard for her to resist the urge to bite onto her lower lip but she did not want to be caught when showing her nervousness.
